FINDKAPOOR is taking over the Korean bag game
With a name like FINDKAPOOR one would be forgiven for thinking that the brand hails from India, but it is in fact one of the latest players to enter the bag game in Korea. Established in 2016, FINDKAPOOR have approached their designs through the lens of art, combining a contemporary social media aesthetics with a respect for tradition. Named after the British-India sculptor Anish Kapoor, the brand’s philosophy is based around the idea of finding oneself through fashion and design, all the while redefining concepts of modern beauty.
While the brand had some early teething issues in establishing their own identity, through a subtle rebranding, and shift in art direction in recent years the brand have found a comfortable place, mixing strong social media influence with an eye for colourful editorials. There is still a long way to go before the brand can establish itself as a major figure in the who’s who of bag creators, FINDKAPOOR seems to be moving in an exciting direction.
